Hot weather concealed carry

Ok my uncle and I were discussing hot weather concealed carry. I am 40 and wear fairly baggy jeans and button up shirts that are never tucked in, pretty much year around. So I carry a full sized 1911 in a Milt Sparks in the pants holster and never have issues.

Every now and then I just slip a Smith snubbie into a leather pocket holster into my right front pocket and my pants are baggy enough no one ever notices.

Now my uncle wear Wranglers and tucks in a button up shirt everyday all year. When it is cold he simply wears a vest over it and carries a 1911. But summer is challenging, his pants are not butt hugging tight but they are tight enough that a snubbie in the pocket is A: very noticable, B: uncomfortible, C: too tight to get to the gun in a hurry should the need ever arise. So he doesnt feel it is a reasonable option.

He has tried tuckable in the pants holsters with his bobtail Commander 1911 but it was with at best so so results. The Jury is out on this option.

So what do you guys do who live in warmer climates? The idea if a plastic .380 is not what he likes but admits is better than not having a gun. Obviously everything is a comprimise but what is the reasonable balance here?
