I am old school in many ways but my EDC is an XD9 Compact or an XDs9, sometimes a Star PD. I have found that I actually shoot my XDm9 5" better than any 1911 I currently shoot, and I've been shooting 1911's for 50+ years. For the range, I really enjoy shoot any of my old or new guns, but accuracy now days is mostly the XDm platform. I don't know why, I just accept it and enjoy.
