Can't speak to that model, but from the "few" screened type electronics that I've busted, self fitting a lookalike cover has been a no go due to dust, moisture etc contamination, AND in futility of matching tight factory tolerances.
But it could be worth a try if you are inclined and have the time..
I guess the only question is cost of repair vs. cost of replacement vs. cost of down time.
