Kitchen Knives

Here is a couple good american companies. Price wise they are middle of the road. You get what you pay for in knives jut like everything else. I have a few knives from both. Good knives!!! You probably could get by with a few paring knives(3' and 4"),boning knife, and 6-8" chef knife. As stated Henkels are very good depending on the grade you get. And get a good steel(or Ceramic) and touch up often. If you never let you knife get dull you will never really have to sharpen.
