It's always good to carry extra ammo. I used all 6 in the little Bearcat dispatching a raccoon awhile back. It was moving around, trying to get away from me. My first shot had rolled it over (head shot) but did not kill it .. just stunned it. I hit it with 4 out of the 6 and the last one was lights out. But I was sweating it 'cuz I had not brought any more ammo with me. That has changed!
