Ruger 10/22 in .22 WMR...

Pre COVID, 2018 maybe, I bought a CZ457 Scout, for what was then somewhere in the mid 300s. 330+tax+shipping or close. It was enough I was uncomfortable with spending the money. They're in the mid 5s, now.
Best rifle I've ever owned. Mine's a .22LR, they didn't make the 16" Scout in .22WRFM.
What I've done to it:
Put a rail on it
Put a SIG Romeo dot sight on it
Had a gunsmith install sling swivel bases (which he did poorly).
Nothing else was touched. Trigger was perfect out of the box, accuracy is 5/8" at 50 yards with me pulling the trigger, and firing SK std velocity. I don't shoot that well now, but the rifle still does.
Point is, they make the 457 in .22 mag, in the longer snouted walnut jobbers.
