Ruger Americans, I can believe it….
….not because it has been my experience, our shop experience was just the opposite actually. But I see no reason to contradict his far greater familiarity with that model.
I will say that we actually returned more Charter Arms products than Taurus products, but we returned far too many of both.
Some of the worst stinkers were Remingtons in the last few years before they went belly up. To include two Model 700 rifles from the vaunted Custom Shop where they got almost every detail incorrect even though they had the order sheet in the boxes. Or the 700 that left the factory in 25-06…but they neglected to actually chamber it, so it was just a profiled and rifled barrel with a 1/4” hole from one end to the other.
Smith & Wessons that were new and out of time. Colt 1911s sent out with the wrong caliber barrel installed. Glocks that plain would not function. More screwed up Ruger single actions than you would believe. The list goes on and on.
I’m surprised most cars will start and drive. Why? Because I assembled Fords back in the day, and watched a pile of garbage head on out the door.
Otony, who will never willingly buy a Ford product…..
