Has it really been 20 years?

Jims writing still holds up over the test of time. Just like Elmers designs and conclusions. Other designs come and go, sometimes at bewildering speed, but good work always endures, even when no longer "fashionable".

My two major 44 mag bullets are H&Gs version of Elmers original 428421 design, albeit from MP Moulds these days. I also have a number of Ideal originals. My "heavy" bullet is Verals LBT 280 LFN, and if I need something over that threshold I'll probably dig up a 310gr or heavier original SSK mould from the Walt Melander era of NEI.

I go almost the exact same way with .357 Mag as well. I've seen many newcomers criticize Elmer and his work, but I can never seem to find anyone with significant, verifiable personal experience to the contrary.
