A close friend was used to the 1911 but bought a .22 Beretta
with the tip-up barrel. He was setting at his Mom's table. He pulled out the pistol, dropped the magazine, racked the slide and pointed it at the back door and pulled the trigger. BAM! No ejector on those .. strictly blowback. Everyone was surprised. No one but the door was hurt.
