I used to consider a 9mm 1911 a waste of my time. No longer.
with the onset of arthritis and the price of ammo, it makes perfect sense to me, now.
Ed Head reports that the first 9mm LWT Commander had a 13 pound factory spring; recoil and lack of reliability were notable. both were corrected with an 18 pound spring and matching firing pin spring (Of course)
