when we travel some distance I have started carrying my SR9
With my XDS as backup. Same here - larger capacity is comforting. Like a good friend who habits this forum is fond of saying "carrying a gun is like carrying a parachute - you hope you never need one but if you do you will need it REAL BAD." I also have Elsie in the console with her laser sight figuring it is in easy reach and something my wife could handle.
