I started out carrying a revolver years ago, and despite a long foray with a Glock 32, I've come full circle back to carrying a revolver.

HOWEVER!

I have come to the obvious conclusion that one of my little J-frames simply isn't enough, even with a speedloader available, and have decided on either carrying a second J-frame, or carrying my GP100 along with a J-frame.

I couldn't really say when, or if, or how, I might be called upon to need a sidearm, but I have an odd habit of strapping on the Hi-Power when going out of town. Exactly why escapes me, but I suppose its larger capacity makes me feel more secure when I'm not close to home base. Otherwise, it is wheelguns for me.

Actually, it is YOU who has made me aware of the need to keep it simple and make do with only one or two pistols. The gun of the month thing is great for plinking and hunting, not so much for self defense. Your common sense posts always focus on the same couple of guns, "beware the man who has one gun".
