Amen to that.
I bought 4 Brinkmann Maxfire LX lights 5-6 years ago for maybe $15 each, kept one and sent the rest to kids in the military. They are all still running and working fine. Only PITA is the price of 123A batteries. They're making the same basic light in a AAA version now.
