Getting old ain't a whole bunch of fun due to stuff like that, but things can be done if you know about the problems in time. I had a friend at work who got no warning - ex-Marine, slender and fit, got plenty of exercise. Went for a walk around the parking lot at lunchtime, got dizzy, and was dead before he hit the ground. Massive coronary. Have faith, my friend. You can beat it.
