AR15 light mounting...suggestions wanted...

I need to mount a light on my AR carbine. Taking it hog hunting soon and it would be great if I could find a good mount for a light. When not hunting a good bright tactical light would be good but while hunting hogs at night, something a little less intense is best. The only rail on the gun is the sight base on top of the gas block other than the top of the receiver where my scope is mounded. If there was an offset mount that clamped to the top of the gas block that might work well. Open to suggestions. I really don't want to mess with changing the hand guard. Mine is a plain, non floated round hand guard. I guess a quad rail replacement would work but I'm not really a fan. I'd like to leave it as close to where it is right now...slim, trim and not bulky or cluttered.
