Saying its part of the Remington family is a bit of a stretch.
As much as I like 870's, I'd rather have a. Mossberg than a new (or newer) 870. The new ones are rough as cobs. I'll take rattle over rough.
My buddy says they sell the a Sun city guns like crazy because they're not much more than $200.00.
Mostly it's to people who will rarely if ever shoot them so they will probably hold up.
