Seriously good rifle cartridge. It's been my "aint playin"
John I remember seeing pictures of that rifle and it looks like a good one. I have mostly been using .35 Whelen brass. I picked up a bunch from Cabelas before everything dried up. I never noticed the necks being uneven but then again I can't recall ever looking very close.
When I was playing with cast bullets I was using formed military brass. I could get good accuracy up to 2200-2300 but I never could get the POI anywhere near that of the jacketed loads. I didn't feel like changing my scope every time so discontinued their use for the time being.
