NINE EM EM STUFF

Sounds like you have it pretty well figured out!

I have been doing some bulk loading of 9 mm on my Dillon. I was wanting a full power load to simulate defensive loads and I have also found that shooting lower power loads in my Sterling, being an open bolt, blowback full auto, can cause ‘issues’, I was looking for something close to the warmer NATO spec.

I have found 4.2gr of bullseye under my cast and coated 130 gr round nose to work well. I about them over my chrono awhile back and found that out of a 5” 1911, the 130 powder coated lead over 4.2gr of BE gave 1040fps.

Same bullet over 4.8gr gave 1167 gps average

I have some pull down 124 gr jhp’s and they are doing 997 over 4.2. I bumped them up to the 4.8 gr load to try and apparently forgot to chrono them.
