Never cared much for Jack's hype on the .270 and will gladly admit it's a fine cartridge nonetheless but his 'pushing' it turned me off. I'm sure my Dad had a bunch to do with it but I lean heavily towards Elmer in this argument.

Full disclosure: I believe there are 3 here: No. 1-A, No. 1-RSI and a rebored 1924 Newton (which is a bit of a train wreck).
