The 10/22 torment continues

Took the bolt in from the SBR to see about reducing its weight. Local SOT said no-too much wear on cutters, IHHO.
Which leads me to this. It is always without fail a saga for me to get the bolt back in. Must line up the retracting handle/bolt spring guide just right, and then slid ethe bolt back in on that. It requires a 3rd hand I forgot to have installed. So far I have a disassembled SBR, and a lot of frustration.

Is there a trick I don't know of?
