Shootists Single Six

I was sitting in Bill Ruger’s office in the early 1990s when he received the word his son Tom was dying of leukemia. Terry Murbach, a member of The Shootists, had been working with Tom to come up with a special Ruger just for members of The Shootists. After Tom had passed and a reasonable amount of time had also passed, Terry contacted Bill Ruger and told him of the project. The result was Bill Ruger ordering up 53 Single-Sixes, very special Single-Sixes as they were not only stainless steel they were also 4-5/8” Bisley Models. These are all marked: “In Memory Of Our Friend Tom Ruger.”
