The world of 35 calibers seems to be populated by "loonies" (in the best meaning) and not terribly mainstream. Hard to say if it'd done any better as a 35.
There's more than a few decisions that have me wondering. Why .228" for the original .22WCF, for example? And then, having established that, why did we move to .223" for the Hornet and then .224" for 'pert near everything else? I don't spend much time worrying on it but it is a wonderment.
