in the beginning of 83, our "Automatic rifleman" were the guys with 7 30 rounders. the rest of hus had 7 20 rounders. By the end of the year, we all had 30 rounders and carried as many as we could. and we have one M60 for every 3 to 4 men, having our own M151A1 Gun jeeps... No Assistant gunners, spare barrels got assigned to random others...along with M203s...
