I have a pre-safety .45 Colt...
Shot with a man who had one he bought cheap off the used shelf . Shot stock cast 158's into a tiny group at 100 yds . Run a tight patch down the bbl and ck for bbl restriction at the threads into the action. My 44 had a very bad restriction and I fire lapped it in and now it is a shooter.I put a marbles tang on mine. If you are lucky enough to find a spare firing pin buy it . It is a weak link on gun and will break and hard to find. I made one for my gun. It is ugly but it works. If I find one in 357 I would buy it just in the hope it would be as accurate as my friends.
