Since I only use rouge on a polishing wheel for the Desert Ironwood I can't mixed stain/glue/epoxy to fill in the pours. But I do have some thin viscosity CA glue that I am going use to seal the pours and rebuff the handle scales. At least that way the pours will not grow though Ironwood is very stable, just a little insurance. Not sure how it will turn out, might end up with little shiny spots on the scales, maybe some light sanding after the CA dries before rebuffing might do the trick.
