Pics of finished Damascus knives.......
Took half of the day to grind down the handle scales to size, sand and polish up but I think they turned out decent. Not sure if I should re-do the tang top/bottom in acid to bring out the Damascus lines or leave polished.
First up is the big one, 3.5" blade, 8.125" oal with Desert Ironwood Burl handles....
Is a bummer when you are sanding and find defects in the wood that didn't show in the scales before hand but that's mother nature for you and the risk of using wood.
Second one is a little smaller at 2.75" blade and 7.125" oal with Desert Ironwood handles.....
Here are the metal specs on the knife blanks I started with.....

3 Layers 15n20
Folded = 5 times
Total Layers = 416
