Favorites? That's tough.

I have been spending a bit of time lately with the Martini. It was a bit of a rat when I bought it. Now, it's a bit of a rat with cool sights! I need to shorten and bed the forearm as well as strip and refinish all the wood. I'm pretty sure it wants to shoot but the wobbly grip on the front end doesn't help.

The Wells Fargo is cuter than a bug's ear but the barrel bore doesn't match up well to a .312" projectile. Still fun.

The Buckeye's are silly heavy pistols. Shooting standard grade .32H&R's out of them is a real non-event. If'n it didn't make noise, you'd never know it fired. I've fired some, uhhh, 'above book' loads in that. I don't really know how fast they're moving but I'd guess 'screaming' might be about right.

The Benelli is a very demanding pistol. I had a terrible time producing a load which would feed and shoot reliably. It will, however, reward you with some very fine groups when it gets figured out.

I like all the H&R's although the light weight S&W can be a bit rude at times.

In the interest of honesty, I'd have to admit to never having fired the .327 FM. No good excuse, just haven't got there yet.

I have shot the Owl's Heads with a smattering of black powder under a light bullet. A bit of work to build cartridges but a sure case of the giggles when fired.

How's that for a non-answer? :-P
