Ruger SR9 and SR40: Experience? Opinions?
After looking at every auto in the shop, Peggi bought a SR40C last month... said it felt good in her hand. After shooting it a little myself, I agree. Think of it as a Glock 27 with a better grip, nicer trigger and a 1911 safety right where it needs to be. It has chugged through a couple hundred odd & end reloads w/o complaint. It is also the softest-shooting 40, of any size, that I have fired. It has adjustable sights if that's your bag. Aftermarket trigger kits are now available.
I haven't really wrung it out for accuracy but when time permits, I'll blog a review. If I thought I needed a small 40 pistol, I'd buy an all blue SR40C in a heartbeat.
