The problem with these truncated cone bullets...
Is they will engage the rifling when seated to the length of a ball round...sorta like a forward driving band on a semi-wadcutter. I think my books show them fired in revolvers and that's why they can get away with 1.275". I'm going to look into that tomorrow after the wedding and see if my suspicions are correct. I'm gonna need a lot to look into!
