and a dowel as a plunger to speed load cartridges at CSA matches. this is for convenience at the loading table. Not hand to carry around. Get a butt cuff for 6 to 12 cartridges. you can keep your carbine topped off this way. The best I have used is made by Chance Shelton of Levergunleather.com [image] I make a simpler version as well. I prefer 5 or 6 cartridges as much more than that really through s off the balance of the carbine.
cartridge loops worn on the belt on your strong side are also a good way to go. Like a single action keep loading, as soon as possible, as you shoot.
