The Heechee series is the best
if you like hard SiFi. I've read everything from the old masters right on up to present...and the Heechee books are still my favorite. However now that I've got my Kendal I've found some excellent hard SF on various free sites. I can list them if yer interested otherwise start off with Randolph Lalonde Spinward series..it will know yer socks off.
