'59 model German Mark V that I worked all summer to buy in
1969 when I was 16. Shot a seagull with it once. I found it entirely adequate for seagulls. Hunted white tail with it for year. A friend who was a much better heavy recoil shooter than I was, once got a 1.5 inch 300 yard group with a heavy load of IMR 4350 and a 150 grain (Sierra I believe, may have been a Hornady spire). Still got it. I don't enjoy the recoil and muzzle blast like I did as a teenager.
