Solid frames, much better suspension, much better handling capabilities and off road capabilities, more power (not counting the gutless little 2.5 L some of them had), etc. No comparison at all, especially all the latter Jeeps with coil springs. Coil springs handle better on and off road than leaf springs and have greater wheel travel.
