One more thing about the Spyderco 'Jess Horn'...
It's probably obvious, but lacking the trademark hole in the blade, the Spyderco C27s aren't 'one-handed' folders. (Er, openers...)
It can be done, but it's in the nature of a stunt: Opening the blade with only the thumb requires a lot of pressure against the thumb notch.
Instead, I always open mine using both hands, pretty much like one would a normal slip-joint knife. It's easier and safer, and it precludes over-stressing the pivot by side-loading it.
