and reflecting on the sacrifices made by so many 80 years ago on the beaches of Normandy, I received a message of beauty and hope.

Meet Luciana, our most recent grand daughter. Many of you helped her mother, Lucy, our foster daughter, years ago. They're living up in Montreal, Canada. We've been praying hard for this little one as they lost a few babies in the earlier stages of pregnancy. They didn't even tell us they were expecting until a couple of months ago.

May the Good Lord bless her and her parents as they raise her in a difficult land.
