Bowen 500 Linebaugh for sale

Beautiful Bowen 500 Linebaugh. Blue with 5 1/2 inch banded barrel, fluted cylinder, Bowen front and rea sights, case color by Doug Turnbull, lanyard ring. Dies, about 50 pieces of new brass some 440 grain LBT style bullets as well. Shot very little.

Selling because I can no longer see the front sight. I am going up to 7 1/2 barreled guns as my eyes are "mature".

The solution may be as simple as fitting a +1 contact in your shooting eye.

This is often enought correction to compensate for the presbyopia.

Take the pistol into his office and draw a bead on something in the room and have him try different lenses until you can just see the front sight (kinda) clear...

With this little correction...you may not even notice you are wearing it....it is like the Monovision Lasik....your brain will pick one eye for near vision and the other for distance....

It will never be as good as 18 year old eyes but works pretty good (and much cheaper than selling that Nimrod)...

A good eye doctor and the right lenses can take care of old eyes and hanguns. I am 70 and had to go that way. Much cheaper that getting rid of fine guns.
