Since it's inception. Jeff & Linda Relitz were in the Army with me at Fort Huachuca. Good folks. They started this to assist other marines in their sins unit, Their son has deployed on 6 tours to Iraq and Afghanistan. It's a worthy cause they do not take a salary from this and I know they have drained their personal resources to pay for untold dollars in shipping. I have a couple GIs' working with me that received troop support donations Mil TEc and Starbucks coffee and a bunch of other stuff.

US Troop Support Foundation is a grass roots 501 (c) (3) organization that sends care packages to our combat troops and assists families of those serving in combat. We are NOT political!

US TROOP SUPPORT has sent more than 600,000 care packages to combat troops from all branches of the service. We have assisted more than 1,200 families with a variety of things, from helping with utility bills to purchasing grocery items and school clothes, etc. We are all volunteers who work out of our homes and use personal supplies to provide support. Using this approach we are able to use more than 99% of all donations for benefit of our troops. The most recent tax return (Form 990) of USTSF can be found on the web site referenced above. We mail boxes to individual troops. We get names from Commanders that we have worked with over the years, families, friends, and troops who are serving in combat. We keep all names and addresses CONFIDENTIAL. US TROOP SUPPORT FOUNDATION depends on donations from patriotic generous people and organizations such as you.

We know it is only September , however the holiday season approaches quickly and gets hectic .With the economy getting tougher , we work very hard to be prepared and succeed in our venture . This also gives donors more time to prepare and budget.

We are preparing for our Christmas for Combat. We have more than 8,600 troops on our list. We try to make sure each one gets a care package for the Holidays.
Supporting one Service member is done in several ways. You can purchase requested items to place in a lg flat rate and donate them along with postage of $13.45 and we will see to it the box gets to the service member. You can donate $ or gift certificates towards a box for a service member.
We also support units and platoons with Artificial trees, decorations and filled stockings.
We are in need of sponsors and donors for this. You can sponsor 1 service member, Its is only $13.45 to mail the box and you purchase contents from the service members wish list or a generic list we have for new troops, $500 sponsors a platoon ( approx 30 troops) a Unit costs $1500 - $2500 or more for us and that is approx 150 - 200 guys average. This will always vary due to attachments. We have some units with only 20 - 30 guys and others with over 500.
We also support families of deployed combat troops . You can donate for this cause or "adopt" a family. For families we ask for $100 Gift certificate from a local grocer or Walmart so they can purchase food for Christmas dinner, and we ask for gifts from their wish lists for their children. We do not focus on the adults, however we do accept and will pass on adult gifts if donated for a spouse/ Guardian .
If you could possibly assist us with a donation for this, we would very much appreciate it.
All donations are tax deductible.

All Commercial donors will get 1 yr of advertisement on our web site recognitions page . If you wish to be placed on the web site, please let us know and send us a logo in JPEG format .

Thank you so much for supporting our troops !

Thank You!
Linda Relitz
