You never know about the small shows, like Wichita Falls. A feller from Colorado, touring Texas and paying his way selling at shows. A five-screw pre-29 in dandy condition. I didn't mention the "A" at the end of the serial #.:) These indicate that the factory found a duplicate number ahead of this one in the pipeline. I've only heard of a couple of "A guns", and never on a 29. Tee hee... Still, I think I paid for the rest of his trip.

Whew! You have to jump on these when you find them, because they don't stay for sale for very long. Nice one, Arch!

Yeah he did fo' sho'.

Them coke bottle grips alone would make my next truck payment.

One thing I truly like, is those little gems of knowledge he parts with, like that A on the end of the serial number.

The serial number also indicates the gun falls within the transitional range from the six- to ten-groove back strap.

It would be interesting to know which it has: Six grooves or ten?

:-)

It has the ten grooves. (nm)
