We got back at 1:30 a.m. or so this morning from a run up to Lawrence, KS to drop off a dear friend who brought a Honda Civic down for us to driver for the next few months. He came down and we drove him back, got to visit a bit with him and his wife before heading back down to SW MO. Our trip is going well, we had a great time last Sunday with one of our longest supporting congregations (albeit one of the smallest) and we're looking forward to sharing with others as we travel 'round the US of A. And to top it off, we just received a beautiful letter from one of the guys "back home", thanking us for investing in his life by way of sharing the Gospel message. As he put it, "I went from a country boy with no family or home to a lawyer with a family, home and hope in Christ." Anyway, just wanted to say "Thank you!" to all of you who've been praying for us, not just in the recent need but over the years in various ways. You, too, have made a difference in the lives of others.
