I know I am repeating myself...but
I fired my Lipsey's 45 Flatop last week with 100 rounds of cast bullet loads. The load was 270 RCBS SSA over 20/H4227. I got around to cleaning the pistol today and a half dozen passes with a brass brush and Ed's Red, followed by clean patches, left the bore sparking clean and lead free.
Ruger has learned how to make very smooth barrels. This pistol continues to delight me.
