I believe he was traveling to the lower part of the valley. Not sure how he came to be where he was unless he fell off the highwall or perhaps he crossed the road by night coming up from the valley. I believe he was in the process of crossing the Coalfield Expressway before I stopped. If he would have tried to cross by day he wouldn't have made it.
