of 107° I hear the call of nearby patona creek but alas, for now, my left foot won't allow a wade there. I almost went this morning in an attempt to burn-up last night's at work coffee intake but played some of these instead until the droning voices helped me fall asleep.....

of the prevalence of short ice fishing spinning combos. There are stretches of patona creek that are basically just tunnels through feral privet hedge jungles. Fly casting there is nigh-on impossible.....even for pinch/catapult launching but with an ice rig and the help of a casting bubble or weighted bobber then I can easily toss flies despite the overhead obstructions. My fly casting purist acquaintances censure and chastise with their indignant sniffs but I only chuckle when I feel the gentle tug on the line.
