SO ... I took the Armscor .22's that wouldn't fire
pulled the bullets. I dumped the powder charges into primed .22 Long Rifle cases (Russian manufacture) re-seated and re-crimped the bullets in place. They shot just fine so I am saving the last of them for a trip to the Range where I will see just how accurate my re-reloading of them is.
I put the empty Armscor cases into the vise and heated them with a propane torch. A few of them made a snap .. not as loud as you could snap your fingers. So basically there was no priming in them. Or something got into the process and killed the priming.
