a copy of "Southern Gothica a collection of tales of comedy, misery and woe from where appalachia meets the deep south"..... then buy it. There were only a hundred printed before that awful day when the four planes crashed. I don't even have a copy. The advance upgraded us to a better home with enough bedrooms for all and almost enough bathrooms and bought me a newer used truck. I never received a w-2 or 1099 and spent much trying to find out why. My agent ....an associate of the scott meredith group was thought to be in the second tower. His phone rang for several days after. He had negotiated with elmore leonard's people to have a seven figure minimum screen-script rights auction with the big three film studios. All of those hopes must have evaporated in clouds of concrete dust. Or so we suspect.....
