Well, huh.

I was nosing around StarLine's site and it occurred to me, they do not make any sort of belted brass. I "need" some .458 Mag brass both for the .458 and to form into .416 Taylor as both of those coffee cans are pretty light. It makes some bit of sense as they are largely dedicated to rimmed and rimless cases and I expect adding belted into the mix involves very different tooling than what's on hand.

I will note that what's in stock is amazing compared to recent years. If you have been waiting on something, now would be a good time to check and possibly order!

That is odd..

I don’t currently own any belted cased rifles but I know that the .300 win mag is pretty popular and they don’t list it. You must be on to something that the belt is a whole nother critter when it comes to case forming.

Jared and I were talking about ordering from them recently. I put together a ‘small’ list of stuff I’d like to get and it was darned near $600!! There has been some .50-70 Starline brass popping up from retailers and I’d like to get some straight from Starline but I don’t think I really need 250 cases. I think i currently have 60, and some of them have been converted to .50-45, so i definitely would like to have some more on hand. I should just go ahead and get them and be set for life…

I'd split an order with you.

In whatever ratio you'd like if you want more (or less) than half. Pick up at Cannon's would suit me just fine.

No, I don't have a .50-70.......yet. I have a donor but too many other projects in the wind. :-P

I'd split an order with you.

Sounds good. That’s all the impetus I need…

And you can´t take it with you! :-D

On a serious note, it's great to see so many green dots next to Starline's cartridge list, very few yellow or red. In fact, only two red dots in pistol calibers. 38 TJ (what the heck is THAT?) and 45 GAP - the answer in search of a valid question... so 500 Linebaugh and 44-40 should go green any time now!! I know there's a good number of my friends and acquaintances waiting for those. It's good to see 38-55 2.125" back in stock, although I've yet to get my grubby mitts on a rifle that it´d work in. 50-70 and 45-70 both still yellow, no rifles for those either... but hope springs eternal!:-)
