Old and Fat
Definitely not the best of situations. Suffer with sciatica so I have that going for me as well. So for the last several years I have stopped carrying my commander length 1911 in favor of a Sig P365, in the last several months I have taken to carrying the new S&W UC J frame in 32 H&R. It's a great shooting gun, carries well, and doesn't pull my pants down. With the Sig, no matter how much I practiced, I just never got that good at drawing from the pocket. With the S&W, I worry about having enough gun. For a little while I carried a 3" GP100 that I put the smaller rubber grip with the wood inserts on, but it is a tank, with +P 38s it is a dream to shoot, but I can't wear a tight belt these days. Wondering if there are any others out there sharing some of my characteristics, and what you're carrying and how? That little J frame goes in and out of a pocket like it's greased, and the sights are fantastic for the personal kind of work it's made from, I like that it is 6 shots, but it's still not very big.
