Living in Arizona in the 1950's through the 1980's there were plenty of places where a person could practice aerial shooting. I used to shoot golf balls, 12 ga. shotgun shells, blocks of wood, sometimes rocks ... and got pretty good at it. It's been nearly 40 years since those days.

300 gr. loads from the Pachmayr Dominator .44 Magnum. I haven't seen one of these in years. Hal Swiggett used them a lot and loaned me his in 7mm-08. He had 10 loads that would stay under 1" at 100 yards. Ballistics were comparable to the .270 from a rifle.

The Reeder Sixgunner.Com Special with 300 gr. 45 Colt loads. They were a bit too much.

My favorite load with the Cor Bon 200 gr. JHP. I took a nice Javelina with that gun and load.

.475 Linebaugh ... those days of loving heavy recoiling guns are long gone!

Thanks for posting them. Loads of good memories there.
