Old eyes.....

I finally gave up on the peep sights I had on my Marlin 336 Cowboy in 38-55, dearly love the rifle and cartridge but these old eyes can't use iron sights anymore so I broke down and scoped it

Found a good deal on a Vortex Diamondback 2-7x, fairly compact size with a one inch tube, pretty good glass in it, while the reticle is a little funky looking I wanted to keep the scope on the small size. Bad enough I scoped a levergun but no way I was putting anything big and/or tactical looking on it. Just another sacrifice you have to make with getting old.
