9.3x57 Husky barrel FS over on GunBoards

It "should" screw into any small ring Mauser. So, a '93/'95, a Swede or (I think) a Turk '98 would work. And, the Turk could be safely reamed to x62 if desired. He also has dies and a small quantity of bullets. The barrel is a buck-and-a-quarter plus shipping.

If I can facilitate, I'd be happy to help. Just holler....

Edit: the barrel has the issue sights and a barrel band sling swivel.

That’s a neat caliber. I had one years ago. It was very Germanic with a schable fore end and side plates one stock. A very dark piece of wood and for some reason, matte or parkerized metal.

Unfortunately I couldn't get it to shoot the 9.3mm bullets I could get for it, which were flat-based Speer cup-and-core bullets designed for use in 9.3x74R. I don't think the rifling was optimal for that bullet, and presently some other neato-keeno thing caught my eye and I sold it down the river.

It seems to shoot well but I admit to not shooting it an awful lot. I need to change that....

It is a trim, purposeful rifle.
