Looks like I need to get into the 45 Colt reloading. Got a Smith knockoff Astra that is a blast to shoot and accurate BUT not cheap to shoot.

Aaron E or Lynn sell great bullets. Careful asking here

I should have bought a 45 a long time ago

by stonewalrus, Wednesday, November 23, 2011, 13:38 (4749 days ago) @ RL

I much prefer shooting it to a 357. The only cast bullets I have used have been for 357/38. I hqave used both Lasercast and Magnus but it's been a long time.

I've had good luck with Laser-Cast. (nm)

Missouri Bullet Company have good products and are nice people to deal with. Just bought a bunch of 45 bullets in 255 and 300 grain weights.

I'll check out Missouri Bullet Company - thanks!

I noticed they cast one for cowboy action and one for "Elmer Keith fans"

I have good luck with Penn Bullets. However, be careful when ordering on their website. The prices listed are usually lower than what they actually charge and they don't give you a total. Call your order in.
